A-1 Alberni Inn in Port Alberni is looking for Permanent, Full-time Front Desk Clerk
Location: 3805 Redford St, Port Alberni, BC V9Y 3S2
Positions Available: 1 (ONE)
Anticipated Start date: As soon as possible.
Compensation: $18.00 per hour
Work hours: 40 hours/week.
Terms: Permanent Full-Time
Language of Work: English
Job duties and Responsibilities:
Oversee the availability of vacancies, reservations, and room assignments.
Greet and register guests upon their arrival, allocating rooms as required.
Handle inquiries regarding hotel services and registration via written correspondence, telephone, or face-to-face communication.
Provide details about local facilities and effectively manage guest complaints.
Maintain precision by compiling and verifying daily records, guest accounts, receipts, and vouchers, employing both computerized and manual methods.
Provide departing guests with detailed statements of charges and facilitate payment processing.
Skills and Education:
6 months to a year of customer service / cashier experience in a fast paced environment.
On the job training will be provided.
