Joe Louis Southern Kitchen is hiring a Host/Hostess to join its restaurant team in Detroit. This full-time or part-time position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with guests and wants to build experience in the restaurant and hospitality industry.

Responsibilities:

• Welcome and greet restaurant guests
• Manage reservations and waitlists
• Provide accurate wait-time estimates
• Seat guests efficiently
• Answer phones and assist with reservations and to-go orders
• Coordinate with servers and managers
• Maintain a clean and organized host stand
• Support opening, closing, and side work duties

Qualifications:

• Previous restaurant or hospitality experience preferred
• Strong customer service skills
• Friendly and professional communication style
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced restaurant
• Dependable and organized
• Ability to work flexible and weekend shifts

Pay & Benefits:
