Horse farm worker Job

-Mucking of the horses, hay, water, feed, medications, sweeping etc.
-Maintain a feed plan for each horse.
-Turn Out/ Bring in horses.
-Monitor pregnant mares and assist during foaling.
-Keeping the barn Clean, Neat and tidy free from clutter and garbage.
-Preparing for and attending off property horse shows and competitions.
-Promoting a positive image for Lake House Stables INC.
-Ensuring and promoting safety of horses, clients, bystanders and Staff.
-General horse, Farm and proper maintenance.
-Maintain and repair fencing, gates, and other farm infrastructure.
-Attending off site horse shows for set up/tear down and daily care of all horses.

-Previous experience working with horses is preferred.
-Knowledge of basic equine health and nutrition.
-Hard-working
-Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
