Honeybees Child Care Center is seeking for Early Childhood Educators Job

Position Info:

• Position: Early Childhood Educator
• Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent
• Wage: $22.50~$24.00/hour (depending on experience)
• Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week
• Number of Positions: 2
• Work Location: A121-2099 Lougheed Hwy, Port Coquitlam, BC V3B 1A8

Job Duties:

• Design and provide childcare programs that support the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children
• Plan activities by reading stories, teaching songs, taking children to local points of interest
• Create and maintain healthy and safe environment for protecting children
• Evaluate the abilities, interests, and needs of children and discuss progress or problems with parents and other staff members
• Detect the signs of potential learning or behavioral problems of children, and prepare reports for parents, guardians, or supervisor
• Teach children to eat properly, dress, and appropriate toilet habits
• Build collaborative relationships with employees and community service providers working with children
• Supervise and suggest activities of other early childhood educators and early childhood educator assistants

Job requirements:

• Experience: Experience as an Early Childhood Educator is an asset.
• Education: College Certificate or diploma in early childhood education is required.
• Certificate: First Aid Certificate & CPR Certificate and E.C.E. Certificate
• Language: English
