Home support worker with some duties as a live-in caregiver Job

Required Duties:
Helping clients with everyday personal care: bathing, dressing, grooming, and moving around safely

Offering companionship and emotional support, especially during recovery periods or times of family disruption

Experience working with blind patient, and patient with hearing problems.

Planning, preparing, and sometimes feeding or assisting with meals, including special diets

Light housekeeping tied to the client's living space — laundry, tidying, dishes, bed-making

Basic health-related support under a supervisor's or nurse's direction, such as non-sterile dressing changes, medication reminders, or specimen collection

For live-in arrangements, residing at the client's home while providing care

Education:
College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years

Experience:
1 year to less than 2 years

Credentials
Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses
First Aid Certificate
Personal Support Worker Certificate
