Title: Home Support Worker
Work Setting: Private Home
Salary: $23.00 per Hour
Terms of Employment: Full Time/Permanent/ Live In (optional)

Job Requirements:
• Education: Completion of High School is required
• Experience : Minimum 1-2 years of previous experience
Job Duties:
• Following basic hygienic practices
• Providing assistance with personal care activities such as but not limited to bathing, dressing, transferring, walking, handling stairs, dressing, and grooming; assisting with bedside care as required;
• Providing assistance with routine activities of daily living and supporting the safety of clients and self;
• Assisting with the use and monitoring of special aids (i.e., walkers, cranes, etc)
• Assisting with medication
• Assisting with meal planning and shopping, planning and preparation of nutritious meals, including special diets; eg: providing ongoing support to family members involved
• Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home
