Home Support Worker
The Randhawa Family is seeking a compassionate and reliable home support worker to assist their elderly mother with daily living activities at her home. This is a full-time position, 40 hrs/week.
The right candidate will perform the following duties:
• Assist with daily living activities
• Prepare healthy meals (breakfast to dinner)
• Administer medication as prescribed by a physician
• Monitor the elderly’s health and report any changes to the physician or family members
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Perform housekeeping duties and laundry
• Accompany the client to appointments and outings as necessary
Skills and requirements for the job:
Completion of high school. Completion of a training program in caregiving or previous experience in the field is an asset, with the ability to communicate effectively in English.
Wages offered: $23.00/hr.
