Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Home Care Worker to provide personal care and daily living assistance to clients in their homes. The ideal candidate will support clients with their physical, emotional, and social needs while promoting independence, comfort and overall well-being. This role requires patience, professionalism and a strong commitment to quality care.
Duties
• Provide care and companionship for individuals during periods of incapacitation, convalescence or family disruption
• Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation
• May perform routine housekeeping duties such as laundry and making beds.
• May perform routine health-related duties such as changing non-sterile dressings, assisting in the administration of medications and collecting specimens under the general direction of home care agency supervisor or nurse.
• Accompany clients to appointments or errands when required.
• Follow care plans and company policies to ensure quality service.
• Monitor and report changes in clients’ health or behavior.
• Help clients with mobility and light exercise

Qualifications
• Secondary school education / College or other courses in home support or equivalent
• Previous caregiving or home care experience preferred
• CPR/First Aid certification is an asset

• Time management and organizational skills
• Ability to handle sensitive situations professionally
• Strong attention to client safety and well-being

Work Environment
• In-home care setting
• Flexible shifts, including evenings and weekends if required
