Job Posting – Home Support Worker (NOC 44101)
We are seeking a compassionate, reliable, and experienced Home Support Worker to provide personalized care and assistance to two elderly individuals residing in a private household in Richmond, BC.

Location: Richmond, British Columbia
Work Location: On-site at the employer's private residence
Position Available: 1
Employment Type: Permanent, Full-time
Salary: $30.00 per hour
Working Hours: 40 hours per week
Start Date: As soon as possible
Language of Work: English and/or Mandarin

Main Duties and Responsibilities
?Provide personal care and assistance with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene.
?Assist with walking, mobility, transfers, and the safe use of mobility aids, including walkers.
?Provide assistance with toileting and other personal care needs.
?Prepare and serve nutritious meals according to dietary requirements and individual preferences.
?Provide medication reminders and assist with organizing daily routines according to established care plans.
?Monitor the clients' general well-being and promptly report any significant changes in health or behaviour to family members.
?Assist with gentle physical activities and exercises as recommended by healthcare professionals.
?Accompany clients to medical appointments and other necessary outings.
?Provide companionship, emotional support, and social interaction.
?Perform light housekeeping duties related to client care, including laundry, changing bed linens, and maintaining a clean and safe living environment.
?Assist with grocery shopping and purchasing essential household supplies.
?Follow individualized care instructions and maintain effective communication with family members and healthcare providers.
?Provide routine, non-medical assistance related to personal care equipment, where appropriate and within the worker's training and responsibilities.
?Ensure a safe home environment and assist in preventing falls and other household accidents.
Employment Requirements
Education:
?Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
Experience:
?Previous experience providing care to seniors or individuals with chronic medical conditions is preferred.
?Experience assisting individuals with mobility limitations and personal care needs is an asset.
?Relevant caregiver training or home support experience will be considered.
