Home Support Worker Job

Job Type: 2-Year Contract, Full-time

Hourly Wage: $23 per hour

Work Hour: 30-40 hours per week

Work Location: Richmond BC, V7C 4Z9

We are looking for a full-time Home Support Worker for the elderly.

Job Duties:

Administer personal care to seniors, such as assisting with ambulation, bathing, personal hygiene.
Provide companionship and daily assistance within the senior’s home.
Perform routine health-related duties, such asassisting within the administration of medications.
Assist with shopping for groceries and household supplies.
Plan and prepare meals.
Launder clothing and household linens.
Perform light housekeeping.

Qualifications:

A secondary school graduation certificate is required.
Patience and compassion with elderly individuals are essential qualities.
Good health is required.
Completion of a traning program in elderly care is an asset.
