Position: Home Support Worker for Middle-aged Cancer Patient
Location: On-site (Employer’s home)
Compensation: $24.00 to $26.00 hourly (to be negotiated) / 30 to 40 hours per week
Employment Type: Permanent, Full-time
Start Date: As soon as possible
Responsibilities:
• Assist a self-sufficient middle-aged cancer patient with managing daily routines and household tasks.
• Support regular light exercise, such as walking.
• Perform laundry duties for clothing and household linens.
• Conduct light housekeeping and cleaning to maintain a tidy living environment.
• Plan and prepare therapeutic diets and menus based on nutritional requirements.
• Prepare and serve nutritious meals; cook as needed.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to foster a positive and supportive environment.
• Assist with occasional personal care tasks if necessary.
Work Setting:
• Work must be performed on-site at the employer’s home; remote work is not available.
Work Conditions:
• Combination of sitting, standing, and walking throughout the day.
