We are looking for a compassionate, patient home support worker to provide care and support for an elderly individual!
Position: Home Support Worker (NOC 44101)
Terms of Employment: Full-time (30-35 hours per week)
Hourly Wage: $20
Expected Start Date: As soon as possible
Work Location: North York, ON, Canada
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Assist with personal hygiene, dressing, and grooming
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Prepare and serve nutritious meals
• Assist with light housekeeping, laundry, and maintaining a safe environment
• Accompany the client to medical appointments or community outings when needed
• Monitor and report changes in health or behavior
Position Requirements and Qualifications:
• High school diploma; college diploma is preferred, but not a must.
• Previous experience as a caregiver or support worker preferred
• Ability to communicate effectively in English & Chinese
• No Criminal and medical issues
• Compassionate, patient, and dependable
• Physically able to perform tasks, including sitting on the floor, bending, and standing
