Job Description:

Assist elderly individuals with mobility support, including navigating stairs and personal hygiene routines such as washing and grooming;
Operate and assist in using medical devices, such as blood pressure monitors, to measure and record vital signs, including blood pressure and heart rate;
Prepare customized meals tailored to dietary needs, with a focus on easily digestible and nutritious options;
Maintain cleanliness by washing dishes, organizing living spaces, and ensuring a hygienic environment;
Provide companionship through meaningful conversations to promote emotional well-being;
Remind and assist elderly individuals in adhering to their medication schedules to ensure proper healthcare management.

Completion of secondary school is required.
Minimum 1-7 months of relevant work experience.
Completion of a Personal Support Worker certificate or equivalent caregiver training is required.
Proven ability to assist with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility support.
CPR and First Aid certification is an asset.
Demonstrated patience, empathy, and effective communication skills when interacting with seniors.
Familiarity with meal preparation, light housekeeping, and maintaining a safe living environment for care recipient.
