Wage: $22/hour, Permanent, Full-time, 40 hours/week

Job duties:
• Support elderly individuals with daily routines such as toileting, dressing, and feeding;
• Provide personal care assistance, including hygiene maintenance;
• Serve meals considering dietary needs;
• Perform light housekeeping tasks such as laundry, sweeping, and dishwashing;
• Assist with mobility and transfers, ensuring safety at all times;
• Offer companionship and emotional support through conversation and activities;
• Remind and assist with medication administration as required;
• Escort elderly individuals to medical appointments, social events, and errands;
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized living environment;
• Monitor the well-being of the individual and report any concerns to the Employer.
Experience Requirements:
• Completion of secondary school is required.
• Minimum 1-7 months of relevant work experience.
• Completion of a Personal Support Worker certificate or equivalent caregiver training is required.
• Proven ability to assist with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility support.
• CPR and First Aid certification is an asset.
• Demonstrated patience, empathy, and effective communication skills when interacting with seniors.
• Familiarity with meal preparation, light housekeeping, and maintaining a safe living environment for care recipient.
