Employment Terms: Full Time – Permanent
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Plan and prepare meals and special diets including shopping for food
• Administer bedside and personal care such as aid in bathing, personal hygiene, and dressing and undressing.
• Perform light housekeeping, including laundry, making beds and cleaning.
Working Hours: 6-8 hours/day, 30-40 hours/week, 2 varied days off
Wage/Benefit: $20.00/hour; 10 days paid vacation per year
Work Setting & Location:
• In a private home in Lacombe, AB
• Recipient of care is a 75-year-old female
Employment Requirements:
• Education: Some secondary school education is required
• Work Experience: At least 1 year experience with caring of elderly is required.
• Driver’s license is an asset but not required
