Home Support Worker
The Jit Singh Family is seeking a Home Support Worker to assist with caring for their mother at their residence. This is a full-time, year-round position.
Duties:
Provide companionship and personal care to elderly individuals in their homes, following family members' guidance.
Assist with regular exercise routines.
Shopped for food and household supplies necessary for elderly persons.
Prepare and serve nutritious meals and manage medications as prescribed by the doctor under the supervision of family members.
Assist with personal hygiene.
Perform light housekeeping and cleaning tasks related to elderly individuals.
Carry out any other related duties as required.
Requirement
High school diploma
Formal training or equivalent experience in a caregiving-related field. At least one year of experience is required.
Ability to communicate in English
Wages: $36.00/hr for 30 hours per week.
Work setting: Private house, Aristocrat Rd, Brampton, ON, L6P 1W9
