Needed: Home Support Worker for Senior Male
NOC Code: 44101
Employment Terms: Full Time – Permanent
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Plan and prepare meals and special diets including shopping for food
• Assist to and from doctor’s appointment including managing medications
• Assist with life management including shopping, banking and coordinating personal schedule
• Assist and accompany to and from social events and recreational activities
• Perform light housekeeping, including laundry, making beds and cleaning
• Perform other related duties as required
Working Hours: 6-8 hours/day, 30-40 hours/week; weekends and evening shifts may be required; 2 varied days off per week.
Wage: $20.00/hour
Work Setting & Location:
• In a private home in St. Walburg, Saskatchewan
• Recipient of care is a 75-year-old male
Employment Requirements:
• Education: Some secondary school education is required
• Work Experience: At least 7 months of experience caring for the elderly is required.
• Valid Driver’s License is required.
