Needed: HOME SUPPORT WORKER
for Female PWD
NOC Code: 44101
Employment Terms: Full Time – Permanent
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Plan and prepare meals including shopping for food
2. Assist client to bathe and dress
3. Help client with exercise
4. Assist to and from doctor’s appointment including managing medications
5. Assist with life management including shopping, banking and coordinating personal schedule
6. Perform housekeeping, including laundry, making beds and cleaning
Working Hours: 7.5-8.5 hours/day, 30-34 hours/week; work schedule varies between 7:30 AM to 7:00 PM depending on care recipient needs; 3 varied days off per week
Wage: $20/hour
Work Setting & Location:
1. In a private home in Neilburg, Saskatchewan, Canada S0M 2C0
2. Recipient of care is a 53-year-old female PWD
Employment Requirements:
1. Education: Some secondary school education is required
2. Work Experience: At least 7 months related experience is required
3. Driver’s license is an asset but not required
