Shirvan Elyassi Bakhtiyari with place of residence in Delta, BC (near tsawwassen) urgently requires one Home support worker to provide him caregiving.
Job Duties:
Provide care, companionship and personal support to an 80-year-old senior in his home.
Assist with daily living activities, including walking and mobility, personal hygiene, etc. as required.
Provide supervision and assistance to help ensure the senior’s comfort, safety and general well-being.
Plan and prepare nutritious meals.
Provide reminders and assistance with taking prescribed medications, as directed.
Accompany the senior to medical appointments, walks and other routine activities when required.
Perform light housekeeping duties related to the senior’s care, including laundry, washing dishes, changing bed linens, making the bed and keeping the living area clean and organized.
Monitor the senior’s general condition and report any noticeable changes or concerns to family members.
Minimum education: Completion of secondary school is required. Some college or other courses in home support caregiving is required.
Minimum Experience: No experience required.
Salary: $24.50/hour (Minimum 32 hrs/week).
