Home Support Worker Job

We are looking for a home support worker/caregiver for my mother in Delta BC. This will be a full-time position, permanent with 8 hours a day shift and 40 hours per week.

You will be performing the job duties mentioned below.

Provide care and companionship for my mother
Administer bedside and personal care to my mother
Plan and prepare meals and special diets
Giving medications on time and setting up reminders for medication
Administer medications refills whenever needed
Perform routine housekeeping duties such as laundry, washing dishes and making beds.
Prepare diets and meals according to her health needs and doctor’s recommendations
Accompany mother on walks to maintain her health

Requirement of the Job Position:
Completion of secondary school is required
Some household management experience would be an asset.
Basic English is required.

We are offering:
$23 per hour
Optional accommodation available at no charge.
Does not have to be a live-in caregiver. Live in is not a condition of employment
4% vacation pay
