Home Support Worker Job

We currently have an exciting opportunity for you to bring your skills, knowledge, and expertise as a dedicated Home Support Worker. Come to join us.

Your duties and responsibilities will include the following:
• Provide companionship, emotional support and regular communication with the client and family about practical and emotional needs.
• Assist with personal care and daily routines.
• Prepare nutritious meals and follow prescribed dietary requirements.
• Perform light housekeeping tasks maintaining a tidy living space.
• Shop for groceries and household supplies and manage basic household errands.
• Support basic health-care tasks under direction, practice universal precautions and respond to common allergies or first-aid needs.
• Assist with range-of-motion exercises, walking and other rehabilitative activities as directed.
• Contribute to care planning and maintain accurate records and documentation of care provided.

Requirements:
• No formal education required
• Will train. Previous experience in the health care industry is an asset.
• Possesses and able to carry out work with the following characteristics:
