We currently have an exciting opportunity for you to bring your skills, knowledge, and expertise as a dedicated Home Support Worker. Come and join us.
Job Requirements:
Your duties and responsibilities will include the following:
• Provide bedside and personal care; assist with bathing, grooming, dressing and toileting while respecting client privacy and dignity.
• Support mobility and promote regular exercise by accompanying clients on walks and assisting with range-of-motion activities.
• Shop for groceries and household supplies and prepare meals that meet clients’ dietary requirements.
• Perform light housekeeping and cleaning tasks and launder clothing and household linens to maintain a safe, tidy home.
• Offer companionship and emotional support through conversation and meaningful activities.
• Assist clients with daily personal routines to promote independence and well-being.
• Communicate clearly with family members and the care team and document observations or changes in client status.
Requirements:
• No formal education required
• Will train. Previous experience is an asset.
• Possesses and able to carry out work with the following characteristics:
Punctuality, Client focus, Judgement, Reliability
