Home Support Worker
Ms. Harry seeks a compassionate and dedicated Home Support Worker to provide personalized care and assistance at her home. The ideal candidate will assist with daily living activities, ensuring comfort, safety, and well-being.
Terms of employment: full-time, year-round work
Duties:
- Shop for food and household supplies
- Provide companionship
- Provide personal care
- Assist client with bath and other aspects of personal hygiene
- Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
- Launder clothing and household linens
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals
- Assist in feeding, whenever necessary
- Assist in regular exercise and walk
- Other related duties as required
Required skills:
Completion of Secondary School is required
A minimum of 1-year experience in similar positions or completion of a training program in a relevant field is required.
Ability to communicate in English
Wages: $ 23.00/hr. for 40 hours per week.
Working location: near the intersection of Mt. Lehman Rd and Blueridge Dr., Abbotsford, BC.
