Job Description:
- Provide care and companionship to an elderly person in a vulnerable situation, taking into account their specific needs and condition.
- Deliver personal care: assistance with mobility (use of a wheelchair or transfers), help with bathing and hygiene (including support with toileting, cleaning, changing incontinence briefs), dressing and undressing.
- Perform care tasks including emptying and changing bags, according to the person’s particular needs.
- Prepare meals (including special diets) and assist with feeding.
- Administer certain basic care under supervision (changing dressings, assisting with medication, collecting specimens).
- Carry out light housekeeping tasks: laundry, dishwashing, making beds.
