Needed: Home Helper

Employment Terms: Full Time – Permanent
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Provide care and companionship to the client in their home and assist with activities of daily living.
2. Assist the client with personal care and mobility as required.
3. Prepare and cook meals for the household.
4. Prompt and remind clients to take medications on time, in accordance with their prescribed schedule.
5. Assist with grocery shopping and ensure household supplies are adequately stocked.
6. Perform routine housekeeping duties, including laundry, washing dishes, making beds, dusting, vacuuming and maintaining a clean, safe and comfortable living environment.
7. Assist with light outdoor household maintenance, such as removing snow from walkways and performing basic lawn mowing, as required.
Working Hours: 30–40 hours per week; work schedule may vary based on the client's needs, with shifts between 7:00 AM and 7:00 PM; 1–2 varying days off per week
Wage: $23.50/hour
Work Setting & Location:
1. In a private home in Cold Lake, AB
2. The recipients of care are a senior couple in their late 60s.
Employment Requirements:
• Education: Some secondary school education is required
• Work Experience: At least 1 year home management and care for elderly experience is required.
