Home Decorator Job

Key Job Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with real estate agents and clients to assess decorating needs, preferences, and budget.
• Create design concepts and plans by utilizing design software.
• Arrange furniture, fabrics, accessories, and other decorative items.
• Work with vendors and rental companies to source and secure required furniture and decorations.
• Style spaces to enhance functionality and aesthetic appeal, with a focus on maximizing property value.
• Assist in photography to capture staged spaces for marketing materials.
• Communicate effectively in a diverse, team-oriented environment, coordinating with clients, agents, and other professionals to achieve successful outcomes.
• Stay updated with the latest trends in home decor and design.

Requirements:
• At least one year of work experience in home decorating/staging, interior design or related.
• A college diploma or above in a related field.
• Attention to detail and a keen sense of aesthetics.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.

Job Details:
• Full-time, permanent
• 35 hours per week
• Some flexibility in hours may be required
• Work Location: St. John's, NL
