Home child care provider

Roles and Responsibilities:
• Provide care and supervision to the client
• Take responsibility of the household in the parents’ absence
• Prepare client’s meals as requested and agreed by the parents
• Instruct client in personal hygiene
• Take the client to and from school and to appointments
• Provide a caring, safe, nurturing and stimulating environment
• Tend to emotional well-being of client and support social development
• Provide age-appropriate activities such as games, crafts, reading and outings
• Assist with household errands and shopping for grocery and household supplies

Requirements:
• 1+ year of experience
• Completion of secondary school
• Must be reliable and able to care for children with kindness and patience
• Demonstrate good judgement and organizational skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Be available to work early morning, morning, day and evening

Work conditions:
• Physically demanding; weight handling up to 9 kg (20 lbs)
• Repetitive tasks
