Home child care provider Job

As a Home Childcare Provider at Home Sweet Home, you will be responsible for ensuring the well-being and safety of the children under your care in a private home setting. The role includes supervising the children, organizing age-appropriate recreational and stimulation activities, preparing and serving meals, assisting with daily routines, and maintaining a safe and caring environment.

You will work in collaboration with families to meet their expectations and provide consistent and attentive care. The position may include caring for children with special needs by ensuring close supervision and support adapted to individual needs. Care is provided in a respectful and personalized manner according to each family's situation.

Secondary school diploma or equivalent; training in childcare is an asset
Experience in childcare or a related field, including with children with special needs (general supervision and assistance)
First aid / CPR certification may be required
Ability to meet children’s daily needs (feeding, hygiene, safety)
Patience, empathy, reliability, and strong communication with families
Ability to maintain a safe, healthy, and development-supportive environment
