Home Child Care Provider Job

• Assume full responsibility for household in absence of parents
• Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
• Shop for food and household supplies,
• Travel with family on trips and assist with children supervision and housekeeping duties
• Wash, iron and press clothing and household linens
• Change Diapers
• Bathe, dress and feed the children
• Discipline the children according to the methods requested by the parents
• Instruct the children in personal hygiene and social development
• Keep records of daily activities and health information regarding the children
• Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home
• Organize, activities such as games and outings for the children, prepare for rest periods
• Supervise and care for the children
• Tend to emotional well-being of the children
• Help children with homework
• Cook

To drive strong caregiving outcomes, you must have one of these;
• Secondary school completion or equivalent experience.
• 0–1 years of childcare experience
• Strong interpersonal skills and a proactive, solutions-driven work style.
• Ability to work independently while maintaining professional discretion.
• First Aid/CPR certification (an asset).
• Language requirement: English
