Job Description:
I am seeking a compassionate and reliable Home Child Care Provider to provide personal and dedicated care for my child in our private household in Richmond. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting with daily activities, ensuring her well-being, and offering companionship.

Responsibilities:
1.Pick up the child from school, provide supervision, and ensure a structured after-school routine.
2.Encourage and assist the child with hygiene habits such as handwashing and changing clothes when needed.
3.Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks tailored to the child’s needs.
4.Supervise and assist with homework and engage the child in age-appropriate educational and recreational activities.
5.Ensure the child’s safety at home, prevent accidents, and monitor their health, informing parents of any concerns.
6.Perform light household tasks related to the child, such as cleaning toys, tidying their space, and washing their dishes.
7.Provide regular updates to parents about the child’s activities, behavior, and any important observations.

1.Education: Completion of secondary school (high school diploma)
2.Experience: Prior experience in child care or a related field preferred
3.Language Requirement: Ability to communicate in English
4.Driving Ability: Must have a valid driver’s license and the ability to drive the child to and from school or extracurricular activities as needed.
5.Certifications (Preferred but not mandatory): First Aid and CPR certification
6.Personal Suitability: Patient, reliable, responsible, and passionate about child care
