Home child care provider (NOC 44100) Job

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Caregiver to provide support and care for a young child. The ideal candidate will have a genuine passion for helping children grow, maintain their well-being, and support their development within the comfort of their own home.

Responsibilities:
• Monitor child to ensure they are aware of their physical and emotional needs and to maintain constant safety.
• Prepare hot healthy snacks and prepare meals
• Maintain a regular schedule of study time, mealtime and play time for the child
• Engage the child in fun learning activities and design daily activities
• Perform light housekeeping duties and keep all meals and activity areas clean and well organized
• Update parents on the child’s performance and development and of any problems, especially with socializing learning or physical activity
• Follow all curriculum guidelines and/or special rules as laid out by parents
• Perform other childcare support duties as required by employer

Qualifications:
• High school graduation certificate is required;
• Taking a training program in childcare or a related field is an asset;
• Have at least 1 year of experience looking after children;
• Proficiency in English;
• Organized and reliable;
• Healthy, enthusiastic, energetic and dedicated;
• Have a strong sense of responsibility.
