Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: $4,450–$4,800 per month
Work Hours: 30–40 hours per week
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide attentive supervision and ensure children’s safety at all times within the home
- Assist with daily care needs, including dressing, feeding, diaper changing, and personal hygiene for the younger child
- Prepare healthy meals and snacks suitable for children’s nutritional needs
- Establish and maintain consistent daily routines, including meal times, naps, homework, and play/learning activities
- Plan and lead engaging, age-appropriate activities such as reading, crafts, games, and outdoor play
- Support early learning and development for the infant and encourage appropriate behavior, homework routines, and social interaction for the teenager
- Coordinate and manage the children’s daily and weekly schedules (school, appointments, extracurricular activities)
- Escort children to and from school, appointments, or activities as required
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of areas used by the children (play areas, bedrooms, eating areas)
- Perform light housekeeping duties related to the children (children’s laundry, tidying toys, cleaning up after meals and activities)
- Monitor household supplies related to childcare (diapers, wipes, snacks, school supplies) and inform parents when replenishment is needed
- Follow parents’ guidance regarding discipline, routines, and childcare preferences
- Monitor children’s overall condition and development and promptly communicate any concerns to parents
- Keep simple daily notes on the children’s routines, meals, activities, and any notable events if requested
Working Conditions:
- 30–40 hours per week; schedule may be based on family needs
- Work performed in employer’s private residence
- Non-smoking environment
