Home Child Care Provider Job

We currently have an exciting opportunity for you to bring your skills, knowledge, and expertise as a dedicated Home Child Care Provider. Come and join us.

Your duties and responsibilities will include the following:
• Supervise child and ensure the safety at all times.
• Plan and lead age-appropriate activities that promote learning and social skills.
• Prepare healthy meals and snacks and follow household dietary instructions.
• Assist with personal care and hygiene when needed.
• Support morning and evening routines, naps and bedtime as directed by parents.
• Light housekeeping related to childcare, including cleaning play areas, washing dishes and laundering children’s clothing.
• Communicate clearly with parents about daily activities, behaviour and any concerns.
• Shop for food and household supplies when requested and follow shopping lists provided.

Requirements:
• Completion of secondary school
• Will train. Previous experience is an asset.
• Possesses and able to carry out work with the following characteristics:
Punctuality, Client focus, Judgement, Reliability
