Responsibilities
Tasks
• Create a stimulating, nurturing, and safe environment for the children
• Drop the kids to the school and school bus and pick them up
• Supervise the children’s activities at all times
• Plan, prepare and serve nutritious meals for the children
• Perform housework related to child care, including washing the children’s clothes, cleaning up after meals and tidying play areas
• Teach the children good social manners
• Teach the children about personal hygiene
• Organising play opportunities to help children mix with others
• Play with the children, both indoors and outdoors
• Plan and lead educational activities, including reading, with the children
• Discipline the children, when necessary, according to the methods instructed by parents
• Administer medicine to the children as per the instructions of doctor.
• Superintend the children’s activities such as meals and rest periods as instructed by parents
