Hiring: Home-Care worker for seniors

We are looking for a nice home care worker taking care of two seniors who are in their 70s. The work location is in Burnaby B.C. This is not a live-in position. You are not required to stay at the home of the persons being cared.

What You'll Be Doing:

Provide essential care to two seniors in their home, assisting their daily activities
Assist in bathing, dressing, walking, and other needs
Provide medication reminders to the two seniors
Prepare meals and special diets for the two seniors, preferably Chinese cuisine.
Do laundry, wash closes, and make beds for the two seniors
Perform cleaning and other household duties
Buy food and supplies for the two seniors
Talk to the two seniors and provide companionship
Engage in activities to promote mental and emotional well being of the two seniors
Take the two seniors out for activities, including driving

Location: Burnaby B.C. (full-time live-out position)
Hours: 30 hours per week, morning, day, evening, weekends
Pay: $23 per hour

High school diploma, higher education is preferred
No experience required, but home care training is necessary
Must speak Mandarin for communication with the seniors
Patient, reliable, and dependable
First Aid is a plus.
