Main Duties
Handling animals
Assist in the development and implementation of farm safety and bio-security procedures
Provide agricultural crop services such as plowing, irrigating, cultivating, spraying or harvesting
Co-ordinate and supervise the work of general farm workers and harvesting labourers
Ensure farm safety and bio-security procedures are followed
Maintain livestock performance records
Maintain quality control and production records
Select livestock for sale
Supervise and oversee breeding and other livestock-related programs
Maintain work records and logs
Hire and train staff
Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment
Perform general farm duties
Worksite environment: Hog and pig farming
Work setting: rural area

Work Experience Required: 1 year to less than 2 years
Minimum Education Required: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience

Wage Range: $24 per hour
Hours: 35 to 50 hours per week
