Description:

JOB DESCRIPTION

Collects, analyzes and synthesizes data; develops information to guide business decision making for BSC populations' health management, cost of health care management, quality of care, and network design and strategies.

Responsibilities include:

• Under direct supervision, provides support for report development team for validation, testing, documentation and discrete tasks.
• Builds analyses per specs provided by upper level Health Data Analyst, supervisor or manager.
• Creates and distributes routine reports for various departments.
• Assesses the validity, accuracy, completeness and reliability of data collected and reported.
• Develops and conducts evaluations and studies within limited time frames and produces analyses that are easy for non-technical persons to understand.
• Ad hoc queries as requested.
  

Qualifications:

Education/Requirements:

• Requires a BA/BS in science, social science, public health, health svcs research or business.
• MS Office, esp. Excel and Access, Unix, SQL/PL-SQL,SAS.
• Must be able to use programs and scripts developed by others.

Minimum Experience Level:

• Typically requires no experience or training.
