We are looking for a skilled accounting technician to work as a part of our team

Position: Accounting Technician
Number of Positions: 1
Wage: $36.6 per hour
Work Hours: 37.5 hours per week (Full-time, Permanent)
Vacation: 6% of gross salary
Benefit: Health (PHSP plan), Professional Fees (Training/Learning)
Work Location: 300-111 Lonsdale Avenue, North Vancouver, BC V7M 2E7

Requirements
- Completion of a college program in accounting, bookkeeping or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum 3 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience
- Expertise with Excel and familiarity with accounting and management programs
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Must be able to work effectively as part of a team and under pressure
- Fluent in English

Main Duties
- Keep financial records and maintain various accounts using bookkeeping software
- Maintain general ledgers and financial statements
- Set up financial statements and enter opening balances
- Prepare personal and corporate tax returns
- Prepare T4/T5 slips
- Prepare review and compilation engagements
- Prepare other statistical, financial and accounting reports
- Perform other general administrative as assigned
