is in need of a Heavy Equipment Operator

Employment Terms: Full Time - Permanent

Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Operate heavy equipment to perform excavation, grading, and loading tasks in a safe and efficient manner.
2. Conduct daily inspections, and basic maintenance of the equipment.
3. Maintain accurate equipment logs documenting inspections, maintenance, and any issues encountered
4. Haul and handle materials such as gravel, topsoil, and clay, ensuring proper loading, transport, and site placement.
5. Leading reclamation and construction crews in the field.
6. Perform other related tasks assigned.

Employment Requirements:
1. Education: Some secondary school education is required
2. Work Experience: Minimum 1-year experience is required
3. Valid H2S and First Aid Certificate is required.
4. Valid Class 1 Driver’s License is required

Working Hours: 8 hours/day, 40 hours/week; work schedule varies depending on customer call ins for jobs; 1 varied day off per week

Wage & Benefits: $40.00/hour / Dental Insurance, Extended Medical Insurance
