Job Duties:
• Diagnose, repair, and maintain heavy machinery including, cranes, telehandlers, aerial lifts, tractor & trailers and various other equipment used in the construction industry.
• Use diagnostic software to troubleshoot, servicing hydraulic and electrical systems, performing engine repairs, and conducting routine maintenance (oil changes, lubrication) to ensure safety and performance.
• Replace or repair defective parts such as worn bearings, broken hydraulic hoses, or damaged fuel injectors.
• Perform routine tasks like changing oil, lubricating moving parts, and servicing attachments to prevent breakdowns.
• Operate repaired equipment to ensure it meets manufacturer specifications.
• Use welding equipment to repair heavy steel parts and structures.
• Adhere to strict safety regulations, such as locking out machinery before beginning repairs.
• Keep accurate records of repairs, time spent, and parts used.
Working Conditions
• Working outdoors in all weather conditions or in noisy, industrial repair shops.
Skills Required:
• Heavy lifting (up to 45kg), working in cramped, dirty environments, and bending or kneeling for long periods.
• Often requiring long hours, weekends, and on-call availability.
Experience Required:
• 3-5 years of experience.
Education Required:
• Trade certification or equivalent experience.
Wage & Hours: 41.82 $
• Number of hours per day: 8
• Number of days per week: 5
• Number of hours per week: 40
• Overtime starts after how many hours: 8
• Shift rotation (as applicable): N/A
