Work Location: 12011 Mitchell Rd, Richmond, BC V6V 1M7, Canada (WORK MAY VARY ON DIFFERENT SITES.)
Wage Rate: $44.00 per hour, (37.50 hours per week). Overtime will be paid after 40 hours
Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible
Education: High School
Experience:1- 2 years of relevant experience.
Languages: Basic English is required.
Job Duties:
• Repairing, diagnosing faults and maintenance of the heavy machineries such as bulldozers, cranes, graders and other heavy construction equipment using hand and power tools
• Checking bulldozers, cranes, excavators, trucks and other heavy construction equipment, for proper performance and inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctions.
• Adjusting equipment and repair or replace defective parts, components or systems, using hand and power tools
• Testing repaired equipment to ensure proper performance when used.
• Cleaning, lubricating and performing other routine maintenance work on equipment
Essential Skills: Working with others, Problem solving, Critical thinking, Finding information, Continuous learning.
Working setting: The candidate should be available to work outdoors full-time in the day or evening or on weekends, if required.
