Heavy-Duty Equipment Technician Job

-Maintenance and service of Heavy Duty Truck and Trailers.
-Follow all safety protocols, including use of PPE, lockout/tagout procedures, and handling of hazardous materials.
-Conduct post-repair testing to ensure machinery meets operational standards.
-Troubleshoot and inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctions, adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts.
-Test repaired equipment for proper performance and to ensure that work meets the manufacturers' specifications.
-Clean, lubricate and perform other maintenance work.
-Verify and repair emission control systems.
-Complete service reports and maintenance logs with parts used, labor time, and work performed.

-Heavy Equipment experience: 2 years (preferred)
-Completion of High School
-Must have a valid driver's license
-Knowledge regarding fuel injection systems, exhaust systems, cooling systems, lubrication systems, engine control systems, major internal engine repairs or overhauls, and vehicle brake systems will be an asset.
