Heavy-Duty Equipment Technician Job

We are currently looking for a Heavy-Duty Equipment Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate would have abilities to keep our operations, machines and equipment operating as smooth as satin based on their skillset and industrial maintenance expertise.

JOB DUTIES:
• Troubleshoot and inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctions
• Diagnose faults or malfunctions using computerized and other testing equipment to determine extent of repair required
• Adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts
• Test repaired equipment for proper performance and to ensure that work meets manufacturers' specifications
• Clean, lubricate and perform other maintenance work
• Service attachments and working tools

EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS:
• Secondary school diploma
• 1 year of experience in heavy-duty equipment maintenance
• Experience working with different engines, breaks, and hydraulics specifications
• Able to communicate in English language
• Valid driver’s license AZ and forklift considered an asset

BENEFITS AND SALARY:
• Full-time permanent position
• $36.00 per hour for a minimum of 30 hours per week
• Overtime may be required and will be paid at 1.5 of your regular hourly rate after 44 hours per week
