Title of Position: Heavy-Duty Equipment Technician (NOC 7312 / 72401)
Language: English or French

Type of Position: Permanent, full time
Job Duties:
• Testing repaired equipment for proper performance
• Performing preventive maintenance and generating work orders (as required)
• Documenting all service and repair information
• Ordering parts, receiving parts, and opening/closing purchase orders (as required)
• Cleaning, lubricating, and performing other maintenance work
• Mainly working on aerial equipment (scissor lift, boom lift, reach forklift)
Skills Required:
• Good organizational skills and the ability to work independently
• Willingness to work overtime and occasional weekends (when required)
• Strong diagnostic ability as well as being capable of reading schematics
• Must be able to obtain Driver’s Licence
Experience Required:
• Minimum of one year of experience
• Experience in servicing aerial type equipment such as scissor lift, boom lift, reach forklift, etc. is preferred.
Education Required:
• Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Wage & Hours: $32.00 per hour
• Number of hours per day: 8,5
• Number of days per week: 5
• Number of hours per week: 42-44
• Overtime starts after how many hours: 44
• Shift rotation (as applicable): n/a
