Niva Services provides repair and maintenance services for trucks, trailers, and heavy-duty vehicles, including computer diagnostics and electrical and mechanical repairs. Our services also include steering and suspension work, wheel alignment, fuel and emissions system servicing (DPF, EGR, CRS), engine and transmission repairs, and brake services.

We are currently seeking a hardworking and dedicated Heavy-Duty Equipment Technician to join our growing team.

Job Duties:

-Maintenance and service of heavy-duty trucks and trailers
-Follow all safety protocols, including use of PPE, lockout/tagout procedures, and proper handling of hazardous materials
-Conduct post-repair testing to ensure equipment meets operational standards
-Troubleshoot and inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctions; repair or replace defective parts
-Test repaired equipment to ensure proper performance and compliance with manufacturer specifications
-Perform cleaning, lubrication, and routine maintenance
-Verify and repair emission control systems
-Complete service reports and maintenance logs, including work performed

-Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience as a Heavy-Duty Equipment Technician
-Completion of high school
-Valid G-full driver’s licence (required to legally test-drive repaired vehicles)
-Strong working knowledge of heavy-duty mechanical systems, including engines, transmissions, braking systems, steering, and suspension
-Experience with emissions systems such as DPF, EGR, and CRS
-Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
-Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality standards
