Heavy-Duty Equipment Technician Job

We are now looking for a Heavy-Duty Equipment Technician to join our team to keep offering quality and reliable services.

Job Duties:

Perform maintenance and service on heavy trucks, trailers, buses, and related equipment.
Troubleshoot, inspect, and test equipment to detect faults and malfunctions.
Adjust, repair, or replace defective parts and components using the appropriate tools and diagnostic systems.
Verify and repair emission control systems and ensure compliance with environmental standards.
Test repaired equipment to confirm proper performance and adherence to manufacturers’ specifications.
Clean, lubricate, and perform other preventive maintenance tasks to keep machinery in optimal condition.
Assist in the marketing and promotion of parts and repair services to customers when required.

-Either completion of a three-year apprenticeship program or over four years of work experience with industry-related courses in heavy equipment repair is required.
-Completion of secondary school (preferred).
-Valid driver’s license required.
-Knowledge of fuel injection, exhaust, cooling, lubrication, and engine control systems, as well as vehicle brake systems and major internal engine repairs, is considered an asset.
-Must be reliable, responsible, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
