Permanent Position : Heavy-duty equipment mechanic Company: Global Lions Consulting Company Ltd

Anticipated Start Date (at the latest in 3 months): As soon as possible
Location : 999 Canada place Vancouver, BC V6C 3E2
Wage Rate: $25.00 to 35.00 hourly (To be negotiated) / 40 hours per Week Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full Time, Weekend, Day, Overtime if required.
Education: Other trades certificate or diploma or equivalent experience Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years Languages: English
Job Duties:
• Troubleshoot and inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctions
• Diagnose faults or malfunctions using computerized and other testing equipment to determine extent of repair required
• Adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts
• Test repaired equipment for proper performance and to ensure that work meets manufacturers' specifications
• Clean, lubricate and perform other maintenance work
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Work under pressure
Essential Skills: Working with others, Problem solving, Critical thinking, Job task planning and organizing, significant use of memory
Other Information: Candidate must be eligible to work in Canada. Position is available and open to Aboriginal youth, new immigrants and persons with disabilities.
