Job Duties:
• Inspect, diagnose, and repair heavy equipment, including drilling rigs, loaders, excavators, and support vehicles.
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance to minimize equipment downtime.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems to identify and resolve issues efficiently.
• Replace or repair components such as engines, transmissions, brakes, and other critical systems.
• Test repaired equipment to ensure proper functioning and compliance with safety standards.
• Maintain accurate service records and complete documentation for all repairs and maintenance.
• Collaborate with operations and field teams to prioritize equipment repairs and servicing.
• Adhere to safety protocols and ensure a clean, safe work environment.

Skills Required:
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and repair documentation.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Ability to travel to work sites as needed.
• Must be able to obtain driver’s license.

Experience Required:
• 3-5 years of proven experience in diagnosing and repairing heavy equipment, preferably in the mining or drilling industry.

Education Required:
• Completion of secondary school.
• Certification as a Heavy Equipment Mechanic or Diesel Mechanic is an asset.

Wage & Hours: $ 45.00
• Number of hours per day: 8-10
• Number of days per week: 5
• Number of hours per week: 44
• Overtime starts after how many hours: After 44 hours
• Shift rotation: Monday-Friday
