Title: Hearing Aid Practitioner
THE FIRST 3 MONTHS AS AN INTERNSHIP YOU WILL ACCOMPLISH THE FOLLOWING TASKS UNDER THE SUPERVISION OF A SPECIALIZED PROFESSIONAL:
- Examine adult patients to determine the degree of hearing loss, recommend appropriate hearing aids, take earmold impressions, and perform follow-up examinations and fittings.
- Supervise technical and support staff
- Assist health care professionals
- Order and purchase equipment
Conditions: 40 hours per week / $90,000 per year/ Work Location : the clinic located at 641 Chemin St Jean, Laprairie, Quebec, J5R-2L2
Education
Equivalent to a professional DEC in Hearing Aid Practitioner
In progress of obtaining, Licensure by a provincial or territorial regulatory body for hearing aid practitioners
