Head Chef Job

Oak Foods North America Ltd (dba Oku Izakaya Bar) is seeking a Head Chef to join the team.

Permanent, full-time; $39.00 per hour; 30-40 hours per week.

Standard 6-8 hour shifts for this position could be scheduled anytime between 9:00am and 3:00am as required. Extended health and dental benefits are available. A bonus is available depending on sales performance.

Duties:
- Prepare ingredients;
- Cooking izakaya and other Japanese food items (everything on the menu);
- Inspecting ingredients for quality and freshness;
- Supervising all food preparation.

Requirements:
- Secondary school completion required;
- Minimum 3 years of previous experience as a commercial cook;
- English language ability is required;
- Japanese language ability is an asset.
